Passport Requirements

﻿Friendly reminder to check your passport expiration date before you leave. Your passport just needs to be valid for the duration of your stay (i.e. no need to worry about an extended passport validity requirement to enter Ireland from the U.S.).

Airports

Shannon International Airport (SNN)

We recommend flying into Shannon as it's closest to the venue - 30 minutes and you're there. Taxis and Ubers are readily available.

Dublin International Airport (DUB)

Dublin is approximately 2 hours from the venue. To get to Adare, you can either i) Rent a car to pick up at the airport, ii) Uber, taxi, or car hire direct from the airport, iii) Direct bus with Flight Link, or iv) Train from Dublin Heuston Station to Limerick City followed by a bus or taxi/Uber.

Located ~3 minutes from Adare Manor and next door to Aunty Lena's (the Pub Night venue on Friday evening). Transportation will be provided to and from Adare Manor on the day of the wedding. While the golf course at Adare Manor will unfortunately be closed for Ryder Cup preparations, the Adare Manor Golf Club is located next door to the hotel and an excellent option for guests hoping to get in a round of golf in close proximity to the venue.

Will Transportation Be Provided?

Yes! Transportation will be provided throughout the weekend. For exact pickup times for each event, please refer to the "Home" tab.

What To Wear?

All weekend festivities will be held indoors with the exception of Cocktail Hour on the day of the wedding, which will be indoors &amp; outdoors, weather permitting! Pub Night: Cocktail attire. If we were attending as guests, Carolann would wear a dress (short or long), jumpsuit, or matching set paired with either sandals or heels. Michael would wear a button down and jacket (but no tie).&nbsp; Wedding Day: Formal attire. Carolann would wear a floor length gown, tea-length cocktail dress, or dressy separates. Michael would wear a suit and tie.&nbsp; Farewell Brunch: Casual attire. We know this will be a travel day for most, so the intention is to be relaxed and casual! If they weren't in airport athleisure, Carolann would wear a casual dress or jeans paired with comfortable shoes. Michael would wear khakis and a golf shirt.

What Time Should I Arrive to the Church?

Please ensure you arrive no later than 2:45pm to find a seat. The Ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm.

We have hotel blocks at two hotels in Adare. The first is at Adare Manor where the wedding festivities on Saturday &amp; Sunday will be. The second is at the Dunraven Arms Hotel, a family-run hotel ~3 minutes from Adare Manor. Alternatively, there are a number of Airbnb options in the village.
